Missions
Bureau of Laboratory Quality Standards as the following powers and duties
1. Develop laws to regulate biosafety and security in a timely manner to the changes in science, technology and level of danger and severity of the pathogen.
2. Promote, develop, supervise and enforce laws of the Pathogen and Animal Toxin Act for the benefit of medical and public health laboratories to implementation.
3. Develop processes and implement quality assurance of testing.
4. Standardization, develop and promote knowledge of quality systems of medical and public health laboratories.
5. Assess and accredit medical and public health laboratories according to national and international standards.
